by Lori Kramer, Office Manager
The end of the calendar year is a very busy time here at Mayyim Hayyim, particularly for me, in my role as Office Manager. I process all your generous gifts, make sure we thank you for your gift in timely manner, while also maintaining the physical plant of the building (which my husband thinks is hysterical since at home I pretty much send all my “this doesn’t work” requests to him). Over the year that I have been here, I have been so very lucky to form wonderful relationships with our vendors, board, staff, and volunteers who help me keep this place running behind the scenes.
Last week in particular was probably my busiest week of the year, thanks to all of our generous donors. I was lucky enough to process almost 150 gifts to Mayyim Hayyim in the four days the office was open (and I have at least another 30 that came in over the weekend). We are so grateful for you, who understand the importance of the work we do here and make our work possible.
You are what keeps this space welcoming, inclusive, and warm for all our guests, at every moment in the life cycle, while also allowing us to keep the lights on and maintain the best team I have ever worked with in the 20+ years in the working world. Thank you for including us in your year-end giving. Whether you donate $5 or $5,000, every single one of those gifts counts, and we could not be more thankful.
Help us sustain nurturing, inclusive Jewish life with a gift today.
